Studying International Development Studies as a minor at ACU helps prepare students for domestic and international careers in a diverse range of government and non-government organisations tasked with supporting and alleviating poverty in the developing world. International development studies focus on contemporary understandings of the causes and consequences of poverty, conflict, refugees and migration, and develop work-ready skills in project management, research and policy development.

Completion requirements

A student must complete 40 cp of the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

a. at least 10 cp from 100-level units (Part A)

b. at least 20 cp from 200- and/or 300-level units (Part B)

No more than 30cp at 200- and/or 300- level.
